I’m restoring an antique tractor; do you provide clutches for old vehicles?
AG Clutch is able to provide new clutch components for historic vehicles. If these components are simply no longer available, we can rebuild various kits. For more information, please visit our Clutch Rebuilds page.
How do I know when it’s time to change my clutch?
Clutches need to be replaced for many reasons. The most common reason is that they simply wear out their friction material to the point that they start to slip. When this occurs, the engine will struggle to provide drive to the wheels. The clutch disc and bearing can also fail after many years of service. If you feel your clutch is not operating at its optimum, please contact the team at AG Clutch who will be able to provide further analysis.
Can clutches be repaired rather than purchasing a new one?
Australian Clutch Services do repair and service clutches. Depending on the wear and tear on a particular item, it can sometimes be viable to repair particular components. This needs to be assessed on an individual basis. Please contact us for more information.
I’m not in Australia, how can I purchase an AG Clutch product?
Depending on your location, we may have a distributor of Australian Clutch Services products near you; please check here to determine your closest distributor. If there is no distributor near you, please contact us and we will organise an alternative arrangement.
What is AG clutches history?
After many years of supplying and rebuilding clutch kits and components for agricultural vehicles, Australian Clutch Services decided to develop a brand specifically designed to handle these services. AG Clutch has since grown to become one of the largest suppliers of agricultural, marine, forklift and industrial clutch components in the southern hemisphere. Growing in conjunction with the parent company, Australian Clutch Services, who celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2014, AG clutch has developed to gain the greatest range and availability in the Australian market. We are continually expanding our range of new clutches and components to cover Australia's broad range of machinery.
Where are AG clutches made and from what components?
AG Clutch sources certain components from all over the world including from various OE manufacturers. These components are then assembled and tested in-house at Australian Clutch Services' headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia. Often components not only meet, but exceed manufacturer’s specifications. Australian Clutch Services places a very high importance on quality control and has achieved ISO9001: 2008 certification.

I use the Ag Clutch online catalogue every day as it is the best on the internet. The catalogue is great in helping to identify the correct clutch using the pictures and sizing. I am also impressed at the range of models listed and stock availability is excellent. Keep up the great work as market leader.
